Before embarking on your yacht, feel free to ask your consultant as many questions as you need to understand what to expect. While each yacht is different, there are some general rules to ensure your charter runs both smoothly and safely.
Most of the yachts operate on a weekly basis. Check-in and check-out dates should be Saturdays. If you are looking for a shorter charter, please contact us for options.
On most yachts, pets arenot allowed due to safety and hygiene concerns. If you wish to travel with your pet, please ensure that you have advised your charter consultant so that they can find you a suitable pet-friendly yacht.
Smoking is not permitted inside yachts for safety reasons. Smoking is permitted on deck only, Please check the smoking policy of your yacht before boarding.
Guests travelling abroad should have passports with a validation of at least 1 month from the last day of the charter.
According to the industry standards, charter vessels are normally insured, with deductible franchise. The insurance usually does not cover damages of personal property of clients, property brought to the vessel and a deliberately caused damage, or any damage caused by clients' lack of diligence. It is strongly recommended that, upon booking, all guests should contract adequate travel and health insurance packages for their travel arrangement.
Please advice us before booking, if you have a disabled passenger. Unfortunately, most of the boats arenot convenient for people with disabilities.
BUENOWAYS may refuse women who are 5 months or more pregnant to get on board.
Neither BUENOWAYS nor the crew of the boat can be held responsible for any condition due to any allergic reactions or any medical emergencies occured on the yacht.
We advise our guests to get health insurances during their charters.
Please notify us at least 1 month before your boarding, if you have any special nutrition requirements.
If possible, pack in soft luggage bags or check in advance how many cases can be stowed, as space for large, hard cases can be limited.
We advise you to bring soft luggages instead of hard covered luggages. Soft luggages occupy less space and they are much less likely to damage the boat.
To protect the decks, shoes for ashore should not be worn onboard. Soft deck shoes are acceptable, but many guests choose to relax barefoot while onboard.
Walking/running shoes with soft bases can be helpful in case you wish to go trekking on land.
Please donot forget to bring a few garments to keep you warm during cool nights or breezes.
While customary, the crew’s gratuity is entirely a matter of your personal discretion. If you are satisfied with the service on board, we would suggest an amount of 5%-10% of the charter fee to be given to the captain. It is equally shared between the crew.
